At the kind invitation of the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism, I attended the "Classics of the World" held at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane, coinciding with the Sultanate of Oman's participation in the World Travel Market. Delighted to meet HE Badr Mohammed Badr Al Mantheri, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and Brigadier General Ramis bin Jumaan bin Sabti Al Awaira Director General of the Royal Guard of Oman Music, at the "Classics of the World" in which the Muscat Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and Opera Choir participated. A delightful musical night where I met Ilham Al-Touqi, the pioneering Omani female conductor of the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama and the talented musical group.
